NLCC Exeter Joining Instructions

Our training will begin with a General Registration Night on Tuesday, September 16th at 1900h (7:00).

Before filling out any forms, ensure your child is eligible to join. They must be between the ages of 9 years old and 11 years old.

Step 1

Print and sign the following forms: (Ensure all information is up to date and correct.)

Application NL-320E
Medical NL-321E

Take a clear picture of the following pieces of ID for your child. We need these for insurance.

Health Card
Birth Certificate or Passport

Step 2

Once signed, scan the document using either a scanner or an app on your smartphone like Adobe Scan.

Step 3

Submit the signed form and ID to NLCC Exeter. You can send it via email to exeter173@gmail.com. And upon approval, a confirmation email will be sent. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us via email. Thank you.

And your Cadet is registered!

So what happens next?

Once you have a Cadet registered, we will send your phone number(s) an invitation to our WhatsApp. Once you join our WhatsApp group, you will be able to see the invitation links to our meetings. WhatsApp is our primary means of communication with parents.

What will the training look like?

Training will consist of two mandatory meetings.

The first being our corps meeting, this will be held every Tuesday Evening from 1830 to 1900 (6:30 pm-7 pm). In this meeting, we will have the entire Corps of Exeter together for announcements, recognition, etc.

The second meeting will be a Level Training, where your cadet will be learning from one of our instructors on Cadet skills such as rope work, naval history or leadership. These meetings will be held once a week on a weeknight. See our class schedule once it is uploaded.

In addition to our mandatory meetings, we will also be holding optional Team Practices. These will be primarily held on weekends. The teams are:

● Advanced Rope work
